Extracurricular Activities
Outside of formal academic courses, there are many opportunities for students to gain further diving experience through diverse extracurricular activities. In addition, dive-related faculty often provide additional mentorship opportunities specifically to students that interested in diving outside of the classroom, which takes advantage of TAMUG's smaller-campus culture and dynamics. Many extracurricular activities are run by the Undergraduate Dive Club, and previous activities have included guinness world record attempts at underwater poker games, dive trips to Florida and through Texas, among others.
