Demand for on-campus housing for the 2026–2027 academic year has exceeded available capacity.
Major, unavoidable construction in our largest residence hall has resulted in a significant reduction in available beds for the 2026–2027 academic year. This reduction, combined with an unprecedented number of returning upper-class students choosing to remain on campus and one of the largest incoming first-year classes in recent history, has created an extraordinary demand for housing. As a result, the university does not currently have enough traditional on-campus housing to accommodate all students who applied after the April 1 housing guarantee date.
Before continuing with this application, please carefully review and acknowledge the following:
– Submission of a housing application does not guarantee a housing assignment.
– I understand that I will be placed on a housing waitlist (approximately 300 students long at this time) and may not receive an on-campus housing assignment.
– I understand that my waitlist position and housing eligibility will be determined according to university housing processes and priorities.
– I understand that I should look to secure alternative housing accommodations if on-campus housing is unavailable.
– I understand that submitting this application and paying any associated fees does not guarantee housing and that the application fee is non-refundable.
By proceeding with this application, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the information above and wish to continue with my housing application and, if necessary, be placed on the housing waitlist.
