SEA LIFE FACILITY
The Sea Life Facility provides a range of services and infrastructure in support of research and education at Texas A&M University at Galveston. Our student staff provides husbandry and life support system services for faculty, graduate and undergraduate student driven projects involving a wide variety of marine and aquatic organisms. We are committed to training our students in animal husbandry, life support system maintenance and design, and water quality monitoring and management. Emphasis on practical skills, problem-solving, technical expertise, and leadership ensure our students are well prepared to enter careers in animal research, aquaculture, and aquarium science. We also partner with the Aquatic Animal Life Support Operator organization to provide nationally-recognized certifications for life support operators and water quality technicians.
