Marine Biology Minor

MARB 315 – Natural History of Vertebrates (4 hours) (Fall and Spring)
Prerequisites: BIOL 112, Sophomore/Junior/Senior Classification

MARB 360 – Marine Conservation Biology (4 hours) (Spring)
Prerequisites: Junior/Senior Classification

MARB 400 – Biology of Marine Mammals (4 hours) (Fall)
Prerequisites: BIOL 112 and MARB 315, Junior/Senior Classification

MARB 408 – Marine Botany (4 credits) (Spring)
Prerequisites: BIOL 112, Sophomore/Junior/Senior Classification

MARB 430 – Coastal Plant Ecology (4 hours) (Fall)
Prerequisites: BIOL 112, Junior/Senior Classification

*Restrictions*

  • All MARB 300-400 level courses require BIOL 111 & 112 with at least a C in each.

  • MARB 301 must have CHEM 227/237 & 228/238

  • MARB 400 must have MARB 315.

  • Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher to apply.
