University Employee Computer and Technology Orders

Technology Services Galveston has onboarded to the TAMU TechHub Technology Store for Campus computer and accessories orders.

TechHub is Texas A&M University's online store for purchasing technology hardware.

Ordering Process:

University employees can browse the TechHub online store and choose the items they want to purchase then let their Department Business Administrator know what items they want purchased. Only approved purchasers can login and order the items, so please work with your Department Business Administrator.

Benefits:

One of the benefits is the TechHub store often has the items in stock, reducing some of the long delivery times we have been experiencing.   

Unsupported Items:

Please do not order the following items as they aren’t supported by Technology Services Galveston.

  • HP Docks / Monitors / Laptops / Desktop Computers
  • Cisco Phones

Recommended Workstation Setup:

Docking station layout

In order to provide business continuity and to support alternate work locations (AWL) we recommend the following minimum items for your office workstation setup.

  • Laptop
  • 1 or More Monitors
  • Docking Station (required with an order of two or more monitors)
  • Webcam (laptop is closed when in use with docking station)
  • Keyboard and Mouse
  • UPS
