Event & Contractor Options
Any guest/visitor arriving on campus (whether planned or not) may always be directed to use the visitor parking pay stations or ParkMobile application. In the case when an individual has been invited to campus and their arrival is pre-planned, the following options are available:
CAMPUS GUEST (less than 30 guests)
An invited individual to campus affiliated activity whose arrival is pre-planned
Possible examples:
Campus Tour
Guest Lecturer
Student organization speaker
Volunteers
Payment
By guest
- Payment made at pay station or via ParkMobile at published rates or
- Guest may register as a Non-Affiliated Guest (see below)
By department (should be coordinated at least 48 hours ahead of guest arrival)

- Guest Parking Pass web address will be emailed to the department. The department can forward the web address to the guest for the guest to print, or the department may print and hand to the guest upon arrival. Pass must be displayed on the guest’s dashboard.

- Department coordinates with Manager of Auxiliary Services
- Number of vehicles expected
- Date(s) of the event
- Event will be setup online through TAMU Parking and Transportation Services and will have a website url created
- Website url will be sent to the department to be distributed to participants
- Participants will pay for parking through the website
By department
- Payment by department is not an option for large groups
- Difficult to determine the number of vehicles to be parked
AFFILIATED PERSONNEL WITHOUT ANNUAL PARKING PERMIT
Typically, a seasonal employee or an employee who does not routinely park a vehicle on campus. Individual must have a Net ID and password. Affiliated personnel should login through My Account located on the transport.tamu.edu website. The timed permit rates are not taxed and are as follows:

NON-AFFILIATED GUESTS
Typically, contractors and/or vendors who are called to campus for maintenance and repairs. Individual must request a login ID through TAMU Parking and Transportation (https://transport2.tamu.edu/account/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2faccount). The timed permit rates are taxed and are as follows:
Per day: $5.00 + tax
Per Week: $20.00 + tax
Per Month: $30.00 + tax
Per Year: $200.00 + tax
