Annually, Texas A&M students are invited to nominate a faculty member or instructor who has made an impact on them during their educational journey - inspiring change in their thinking, challenging them to think in new ways, or supporting their learning in a way that transformed their educational experience. Students who choose to nominate will be able to share their experiences through a call for nominations that includes a required minimum 1000-1500 word essay.
This teaching award nomination is open to all current Texas A&M University undergraduate and graduate students in College Station, Galveston, and Qatar; HSC, School of Law, and College of Dentistry. Two graduate and four undergraduate students will be selected from the submissions and they will receive a $500 education grant. The nominated faculty members and instructors of these six students will receive a $1,500 professional development grant to support the continuation of exceptional teaching practices.
